Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe hails from America and is a country music singer/songwriter. The group she formed with Ashley Monroe named Pistol Annies, with Angaleena Presley and Miranda Lambert in 2007, before releasing her second album called Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe, Assistant Village Manager for the village of Riverside Illinois has more than fifteen years of experience within working in the government sector. She spent nearly five years in Iowa City as the Deputy City Manager. The Assistant Village Manager's current responsibilities include the management of Community Development and Building Department as well as coordinating grant applications and the completion of projects that are special. Ashley aids in the daily operation of Riverside services, as well as in the implementation of the community's elected officials' goals. Ashley was in a number of positions during her career, which included municipal planning and government communication budgeting, collective bargaining and management of employees in addition to working on climate change-related initiatives.
